About Holland

Holland’s carrer in voice began on the operatic stage. Having trained since early childhood she completed her Masters degree in Operatic Studies and moved into professional performance. As an adult, she began exploring the realms of contemporary singing. She was fascinated by the greats- Aretha Franklin, Freddie Mercury, Whitney Houston- and similarly perplexed as to why today’s singers are not able to attain the same level as their predecessors.

Why are modern singers falling short, and why are they blowing their voices out so young? It was this question that led Holland to explore modern singing through the lens of operatic technique. Holland found that most modern singers force their voices into only one section of their upper body, rather than allowing the voice to move freely. The result is a shortened range, harsh tone, discomfort while singing, and in some cases -profound vocal injury.

Holland’s unique approach of healing the pathway of the voice has helped singers of all kinds to increase their range, power, and tonal beauty, Even singers with decades of vocal injury can turn their voices around using this approach. The premise is simple - when the voice is healthy, the voice is beautiful. It is Hollands great joy and honor to serve the vocalists of all kinds in this process of healing and self-discovery.
